NJR management team
The NJR management team, based at HQIP, supports the work of the NJR Steering Committee and all its sub-committees.
Team members include:
Elaine Young, Director of Operations
Responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the National Joint Registry, supporting the work of the NJR Chairman, the Steering Committee and committee members, as well as ensuring that NJR programmes are aligned to broader policy direction and national projects.

Responsible for providing executive support to the Director of Operations as well as the secretariat and support function to the National Joint Registry Steering Committee and its sub-committees.

Dr Carolina Arevalo, Associate Director of Operations and Contracts
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of NJR business, contracts and finance. This includes managing projects and work streams to ensure the NJR achieves its strategic objectives.

Responsible for the management and development of the research function. This includes supporting the NJR Research Sub-committee, NJR PROMs work programme and for overseeing the governance and management of NJR data requests and data sharing arrangements.

Responsible for supporting the NJR's Associate Director of Operations and Contracts on all aspects of NJR business, contracts and finance to ensure the NJR achieves its strategic objectives.

Responsible for managing the NJR's Surgeon, Unit and Implant Performance work programmes and supporting the NJR Surgeon Performance and Implant Performance Committees and Implant Scrutiny Group.
